In 1993, following a career in industry, Josephine Hayward heralded the birth of Aries from a bedroom within Moses Cottage set in the tranquil, rural environment of Tre Mostyn, North Wales.
In 1995 the business expanded into a refurbished woodshed and Josephine appointed her first employee.
In 1996, after extensive research and trialing, Aries appointed Comfort Zone UK as its skin-care specialist.
In March 1997, Josephine's husband Frank joined the business as Accountant and Jack of All Trades. The only male member of the team, he is responsible for all financial aspects and has the additional responsibility of preparing the superb cuisine offered on Days of Indulgence and Specialist Programmes.
In May 1997, to meet the demands of a growing client base, further expansion was necessary. Unable to find suitable premises elsewhere, extensive building work commenced in the grounds of Moses Cottage.
In September 1998 Aries opened its doors to a new, purpose-built clinic with three beautifully appointed treatment rooms, one with shower facilities, offering access to valued clients with physical disabilities. Feng Shui consultants were appointed at the bricks and mortar stage to ensure the ambience and serenity of the new clinic.
In January 2000, Aries achieved Investor in People status and is proud of its programme of continuing training and development.
